Sealed bids are invited from registered firms/contractors for the following works at the Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore, in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules, 2014:

Maintenance and Repair of Air Conditioners and Electric Water Coolers installed at the Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

The scope includes but is not limited to:

General servicing, maintenance and repair of Split, Window and Cabinet Air Conditioners.

Gas charging, compressor repair/replacement, electrical fault rectification.

Repair and maintenance of electric water coolers including motor, pump, thermostat and cooling system.

Replacement of defective parts (if required) with prior approval of the competent authority.

Preventive maintenance as per manufacturer standards.

The firm must be registered with relevant authorities.

Valid NTN and GST registration certificates must be attached.

The firm must have at least 03 years’ experience in similar nature work.

Proof of previous work orders/experience certificates must be provided.

The firm must not be blacklisted by any Government/Semi-Government Department.

Single Stage – Single Envelope procedure under PPRA Rules 2014.

Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the name of the work.

2% of the estimated cost in the shape of CDR/Bank Draft in favor of the Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

Earnest money shall be returned to unsuccessful bidders after finalization of the tender.

Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned during office hours upon submission of written request.

Bids will be opened on 11 May 2026 at 11:30 AM

Venue: Office of the Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

1. Conditional, incomplete or late bids shall not be entertained.

2. Rates must be quoted inclusive of all taxes.

3. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids under PPRA Rules 2014.

4. Work shall be completed within the stipulated time as mentioned in the work order.

5. Payment shall be made after satisfactory completion of work and verification by the concerned committee,/Teacher/Official/Officer.

6. The contractor will be responsible for any damage caused during maintenance work.

7. The successful bidder shall enter into a formal agreement with the Institute.
